Our Coffee

About Espresso

Espresso is prepared by forcing hot water through finely ground dark-roast coffee beans. Think of it is strong, concentrated coffee. You can add extra ’shots’ of espresso to make your drink stronger.

The Hazelnut Tree chooses only "certain" roasteries as a source for our gourmet coffee.  Every order we place with the roaster is sent out within 24 hours of roasting, and we receive our bean shipments the following day.  This means that you, our customer, receive the freshest coffee possible!

Regular Blends, Flavored Coffees, and Decaffeinated Coffees:

        $10.50 per pound

Espresso and Decaffeinated Espresso:

        $13.50 per pound

REGULAR BLENDS:

Campfire Roast/Melange - Our most popular roast! This blend of coffee possesses a smooth, solid body with the richness of Costa Rican, the unique smoky flavor of Guatemalan, and the earthy, heavy body of  Sumatra.  Close your eyes and you can almost taste coffee perked over the campfire on a brisk morning.

Scandinavian Blend - This blend of Medium Roast and French Roast coffees produces a flavor all it's own with the body, acidity, richness, and the bittersweet tang of a dark roast, yet the smooth finish of medium roast.

      Woods & Water - This blend of Colombian, Sumatra, and Hawaiian beans
      produces a slightly smokey, balanced cup of coffee.

      Vienna Roast Colombian - Vienna roasted, medium bodied, with a                     chocolate-like, smooth finish.

Ottertail -  This blend of Central American and Indonesian beans  is the silkiest, smoothest French Roast you will ever experience.  It has all the flavor of a rich, dark French Roast and none of the bitterness and acidity that often accompanies this roasting level. 

Buon Gusto Espresso Blend - A well-kept secret of blended perfection with an unmatched flavor profile and outstanding crema. Roasted, packaged, and vacuum sealed in Italy.

Jazzy Java - Privately selected Costa Rican beans roasted to perfection and flavored with the jazzy blend of Cinnamon and Hazelnut with  an added touch of Rum!  Our most popular flavor!

Hazelnut Creme - Flavored with the nutty essence of toasted Oregon hazelnuts infused with the silky smooth and butery flavor of Tahitian vanilla.

Highlander Grogg - The cozy flavor blend of spiced whiskey and sweet buttercream make this coffee a great cold-weather treat.
